Hello all, I was on the atkins diet about 6 years ago. I think I was on in for a month and I think I lost about 20 pounds. 280 to 260 lbs. I read the book and unless they have a new record, I ate whenever I wanted and as much as I wanted. As long as I was under 20 carbs a day.
A few years later, I tried it again and I didn ' t even last a few days. weird.
These days, I ' m at roughly 205 pounds from a low fat calorie diet, 1500 calories a day from M - TH and whatever I want to ate Fri - Sun. It has helped continue my weight but now I want to get down to 185. I have been 205 pounds for about a year now so I think its time for a new diet. This new atkins diet is saying to eat 3 - 4 times a day and eat a decent portion, is that right? I used to eat as much as I want the first time I did atkins. I think my plan right now is to do the induction phase and see how it goes. Combine this with some high intensity interval training 2 or 3 times a week, maybe a day in the pool or hiking / biking in the angeles national forest. The low fat diet is hard but this will be a pain like no other.

Hi welcome to the forum,
I do hope you reach your target of 185 - have a look at what & how much you can eat on the induction forum - its very useful and precise.
