It ' s not acidy indigestion just uncomfy in my chest like I ' ve swallowed lots of air
This is what I ' ve been eating ( fairly typicaL menus for me whilst on Atkins )
Wednesday
Breakfast - 3 pork sausages
Lunch - 3 Chicken drumsticks with salad ( lettuce and cucumber )
Dinner - Beef and oatmeal casserole with spinach
Thursday
Breakfast - Bacon
Lunch - Prawns, lettuce and cucmber
Dinner - 2 small chicken breasts topped with a sprinkling of cheese with broccoli
Friday
Breakfast - Salmon
Lunch - 3 Chicken drumsticks with salad ( lettuce and cucumber )
Dinner - Will be griddled tuna steak with runner beans
I haven ' t been measuring the veggies that accurately ( don ' t get the cup thing! ) but have been having a bowl full of lettuce at lunch and decent veg portions in the evening.
Am also slightly constipated - would that cause indigestion?

cucumbers can cause gas and being constipated can definately make you feel ill-fitting. are you drinking enough water?
and I was curious... what don ' t you get about the " cup thing "???

Am getting about 4 pints of water a day but finding it hard to drink as I ' m so full of gas! [ / icon_redface. gif]
Will try and cut out the cucumber and see if that helps at all. Have been like this for several days now and it ' s really getting me down. I ' m off work for the weekend now so can hopefully get out and about a bit more in the fields at home which I hope will help.
As for the cup thing - I ' m just not sure what a cup looks like!?! Is it some sort of standard measure or does it just mean a cup that you drink tea out of? ( but we have about 4 sizes of those!! ) [ / icon_lol. gif]

In America we use " cup " as in measuring cup. It is a specific size. I wish we had switched over to metric. Maybe one of the other non _americans can tell you what to use.
Hope you are feeling less bloated.

A cup is 8 oz - about a teacup size. Four cups is a quart, which is about a liter. So figure 250 ml is a cup.

When it comes to salad... I ' ve calibrated my hand...
A cup is about a handfull of loose lettuce / salad mix. I used to measure it, now I just grab it.
