Hello,
I am starting Atkins for the second time and trying so hard NOT to get discouraged; (
I am 42, and the proud mom of 4 exquisite kids. I am 5 ' 1 and 130lbs. When I did it a few years ago I weighed 130 and dropped to 120 I was so happy!
Well I didn ' t spring from the proper steps after induction and gained all the weight back and have gone between 130 and 135 for the last few years. I have started back on induction and this will be my second week. I started at 135 and have gone down to 130. but now the dreaded scale has stopped! oy!! I am religious about my carb intake and I know I am in Ketosis, I drink water. I am just getting scared that this time I wont be able to get back down to 120. My goal would be 115 but I would be happy with 120.
thanks for listening; )
Thanks for listening

Hello AMNSKIP,
Welcome back to Atkins and the forum. Are you taking 12 - 15 net carbs from veggies?
May be you can post what you ' re eating. Cheer up, stick to the plan and the weight will be gone [ / icon_smile. gif]

I hate to say it but you might have missed your golden relief. A lot of people have a golden opportunity where the diet works well for them but other times they can ' t drop much weight at all. It is unexplainable but occurs with a lot of people. The other problem you are facing is that you are close to your goal weight and it usually takes a lot longer to lose the weight when you are closer to goal.
keep with it. [ / icon_smile. gif] Good Luck!

What I usually have for breakfast is eggs with coffee ( splenda, half and half )
Lunch - anything from chicken, beef, with salad ( no croutons or anything like that ) or egg salad ( mayo and eggs that ' s it )
I drink the flavored water ( no carbs no calories or sugar ) at least 2 - 3 bottles a day
dinner is again chicken, beef, with salad or veggies
I have started stretching a little and going swimming when I can but that is it as far as excercise.

You ' re doing fine, but I think heavy cream is preferable than half and half.
Anyway good luck [ / icon_smile. gif]
