If I get stuck at lunch time and find only store - bought quiche to eat, is it okay to eat it if I don ' t eat the crust? That is, is the quiche filling low in carbs?

I would just check the labeling and the nutritional data. If it isn ' t to high in carbs for you, then it ' s probably fine. Many of those foods have some sugar, but how much could they put in quiche? Just count the carbs! [ / icon_smile. gif]
Remember though, chicken is easy to roast; and cold chicken makes a tasty lunch; It also keeps well without refrigeration for a morning. So does roast beef. If you mix up your menu a little you ' ll be happier with the diet.
Good Luck! [ / icon_smile. gif]

Yes, you could roast a chicken or a turkey on Sunday and then eat off of it for a few days. Manufacturers as well as restaurants put sugar in eggs. So be careful with that. You could also make a beef roast. just cook it in beef broth and when it is almost done add broccoli or cauliflower. They soak up the beef flavor and taste sooooo goooooood!
