I ' m wondering about crystal light, the packet says no carbs, does that pursue true if I drink 10 glasses a day? I really have a hard time drinking plain water and want to flaver it a bit. I refuse to mess up my carb count so this is really important to me. If you could let me know, that would be great.

The only problem with the Powder Crystal LIght is that it is like candy with aspartame.

Crystal light pre - mixed bottles, however, are luscious with suclarose ( Splenda. )

So are you saying that crystal light really does ' nt have any carbs even if I drink it all day long?

I don ' t know if it has carbs - what does the container say?

The only thing I pointed out was that it was sweetened with aspartame - some people think this impedes weightloss. Others think aspartame is bad for you.

And others think that you will never lose your desire for sweets if you keep consuming sweet things.

Just some decisions you have to make for yourself. [ / icon_wink. gif]

The container says 0 carbs. But am I mistaken, I thought all artifical sweetners had at least 1 carb. If I can only have 20 carbs a day then I don ' t want to use up 10 in my drink. It helps me to drink the water if I can put something in it.

I never had a sweet tooth, just don ' t like water.

So it clearly states 0 carbs, or does it say <1? Because it is the crystal light mix, my guess is that it may be using powdered aspartame which does have a carb count, although it is less <1. I can ' t remember exactly what it is now.

Crystal light says 0 carbs. It does use aspartame as a sweetner, so is it really carb free if used all day?

I drink it almost every day. I assume that a glass of it has 1 carb, just to be safe. Since it ' s in powdered form I don ' t know that it doesn ' t have carbs. Use it in moderation and you should be fine.

Good Luck! [ / icon_smile. gif]
