So im coming to a close to the induction phase.. in one day.. i have lost 10lbs so far.. should i continue on with induction until i hit a stall? or go on to the next phase? I have 20lbs to lose and 3 months to go? What do u think?

Congrats on making it through the first two weeks of induction and dropping 10 lbs [ / icon_smile. gif]
As for your question, I ' m a little new here and probably wouldn ' t have the best advice. Personally, I ' ve been planning on staying on induction till I ' m within 15 lbs of my goal weight.

Candygirl, according to the book you have average to low metabolic resistance. You could go up to 25 carbs a day and probably still lose at a good velocity. Or stay at 20. Either way, add in a new food or two - - more veggies, berries, nuts, etc. to give yourself more variety so you don ' t get bored or tempted to accidental. Way to go!!! [ / icon_biggrin. gif]

This is what I do and it has worked wonders so far: Saturday and Sundays, I eat up to 30 carbs a day. This is where I ' ll go splurge on a Carl ' s Jr six dollar low - carb burger or maybe take a small bag of peanuts as a snack to the movie matinee. Add in more veggies, etc. Then come Monday thru Friday, I ' m back to 20 carbs or less a day. I find this little variation keeps things interesting and prevents me from falling into the clutches of boredom, all the while keeping my metabolism burning at top speed.
Now I don ' t know if this is permissable or even if it is recommended, but I do know that it is what has worked best for me and thought it was worth sharing. You are the one here who truly knows what ' s best for you, how your body responds and what it inevitably needs to get to where you want to go.
How do you feel? Are you feeling bored and unmotivated? Adding in a few more carbs may actually accelerate your weightloss efforts or it may not. You can always give it a try, a few carbs at a time and see where exactly your CCL ( Critical Carbohydrate Level ) is, which is different for each one of us, depending upon age, level of daily exercise, etc.
Good luck - you ' re doing a terrific job so far! [ / icon_biggrin. gif]

If you are doing a more strenuous workout then before, you should definitely add the extra 5 carbs.
