Smooth Move herbal tea ( do it when you ' re home and near the bath over the weekend!! ) and psyllium husk will keep you entirely regular and pain free in the bathroom. These work unbelievably well calm. Also eat less and less red meat and group more on fresh fish broiled or pan fried in olive oil and butter. Chicken and fresh fish seem to make less sludge in the stomach than beef.
Pickles can be eaten if you get the unsweet kind. HOWEVER you will be really happy to know that Vlasic makes pickles like honey with SPLENDA. These are wonderful. I like to rinse sweet pickles really good in lots of cold water. The cold water keeps them a little crisp and rinses away much of the sugar. In detail, if you want to you can replace the water in the jar with tap water or rarefied water for a day or two, dump it out and rewater the pickles so you can soak out the sweet. They ' ll still be a little sweet anyway, but it famously reduces the sugar and your sweet tooth will be much satisfied.
Also, lots of crisp celery with no - carb creamy dressings ( no hidden sugar kinds like Marie ' s ) is a GREAT satisfying snack.

Oh, I am so glad to hear back from you on that Smooth Move herbal lax. Yep, after a friend of mine told me about it, I bought a box and didn ' t use it for like two years. I just tried it last year, I think, and WOW. I love that stuff. Now I also find that just putting a tablespoon of Psyllium husk powder in one of those Atkins shakes does the trick also, so I don ' t even really need the tea unless I just feel like having it. Psyllium husk is extremely cheap to buy. I buy it at the health food supermarket in a large cannister for $7. 99 or less.
