Hi, I ' ve been doing induction for the past week and have lost eight pounds. My boyfriend wants to go out for a meal this Friday and has said I can pluck wherever would suit me best. Does anyone have any advice on what types of restaurants suit the diet best? I know I ' ll have to make alterations and accomodations wherever I go, but if anyone has any suggestions they would be much appreciated!
Thanks [ / icon_biggrin. gif]

A steakhouse.
Scheme a steak and salad. Mild. Just make sure they don ' t add any sugary sauces.
Most restaurants I ' ve been to have at least a few items that are Atkins friendly or juicy modified. For example ask for extra veggies instead of fries or a potato.

Hiya and Welcome - & congrats on the loss so far!
Here ' s a few suggestions:
Applebee ' s
Chili ' s
Outback
Bennigan ' s
Any other place with steaks & salads - Maxomo hit the nail on the head [ / icon_wink. gif]
There ' s also seafood restaurants if you like seafood - you can have fish, & of course butter if you want like crab legs or lobster. There ' s clams, oysters... There ' s a lot of options. Only thing to watch for here, is sauces again - not too sugary or sauces thickened with starches. For instance, new england clam chowder might not be the best choice [ / icon_wink. gif]. Good luck!
Brightest Blessings,
Lisa

Thank you both so much, I was a bout to say that I actually live in Ireland but could get an idea from the type of places PhoenixHeart was suggesting even though they aren ' t over here. But then I discovered the American chain Mongolian Barbeque have a branch here which looks ideal!
Thanks again, everyone is so supportive here [ / icon_biggrin. gif]
