Caroline... are you doing Atkins Induction?? There are several things in your menu that aren ' t ok if you are...
First of all.. we don ' t eat lowfat or reduced fat foods. You had lowfat cheese and margarine ( trans fats!! ).
1 oz. of low fat Cheddar cheese
2 tsp of reduced fat margarine ( 40 % fat )
Cream is limited to 3 TBS per day...
On day one you had 6.
Nuts and seeds are introduced the 3rd week of Ongoing Weight Loss...
2 / 3 tbs of sesame seeds
Alcohol is reintroduced week 5 of OWL...
2 tbs of white wine
Watch the sugar content in salad dressing, some, like French, are quite high...
2 tsp of french dressing
Your menu looks very good... nutritious and delicious!!! It just isn ' t completely Induction. It looks like week 4 or 5 of OWL to me. Maybe that ' s intentional, I don ' t know... but you posted it in the Induction Phase forum so that ' s the reason for my comments.

Hi Caroline,
That tired feeling will go away once your body adjusts to Atkins. It should only be a few more days, then you ' ll start feeling great, with more energy and no hunger or food cravings if you follow the plan.
Here is the list of Acceptable Foods during Induction:
http: / / www. atkins. com / articles / atkins - phases / phase - one / acceptable - foods /
Along with what Tril said, here are my observations:
Cottage cheese isn ' t allowed until OWL.
Rhubarb is ok as an " Other Vegetable ", but the total measure of the " Other Vegetables " you are eating can ' t be more than 1 cup per day. Salad vegetables should make up two cups per day.
You had two tomatos one day. The limit for the total of " Other vegetables " is one cup per day. Were they small tomatos?
I like the variety of the foods you are eating. That ' s great! Some people try to go through Induction eating just eggs, meat and salad. Your menus are much better and more creative.
Good luck! Let us know how you are getting along.
