Hi all,
Started inductionn today, i did atkins before and lost almost 60 pounds.
Now put it back on over the last 5 years.
Today i weigh 245. I have no target weight but i want to work hard over the next 14 days to get down some weight and cause myself to get further.
The only meal i find hard is breakfast. i ' m out the door in a accelerate early in the morning and need something really really quick. At the moment i cook bacon the night before and heat that and chomp it down before i run for a train!!!

wasnt able to add the link for some reason but ive had this bookmarked for a while! worth tryin for brekki!
" Crustless Quiche
Dozen large or jumbo eggs
2 cups heavy cream
2 cups shredded cheese ( cheddar, swiss, mozzarella, monterey bill etc )
1 to 2 cups of cooked meat ( bacon, sausage, spam, ham etc )
chopped onion to taste ( prodigal ) - ( remember the carbs! )
broccoli or other cooked veggie ( supererogatory )
Whip up the eggs and cream. Fold in other ingredients. Shower in a 9x13 inch pan. Or do what I do and drizzle in a large muffin pan ( makes 12 muffins ). Either way use cooking dilute first or butter the pan. Bake 20 statement at 350 degrees or until cooked through ( a little longer if in the 9x13 pan ). This freezes exceptionally well, just extinguish in microwave for 90 seconds or so. Make a clutch on the weekend for quick and easy breakfast during the week.
I use glass lasagna pan and cook at 350 for 35 daily.. let cool before cutting. "
i havent made it myself but got all the ingreds in today!

More ideas for quick breakfast on the spurt:
Prepare 1 oz cheese slices ahead of time and grab one as you leave. For extra nutrition, add a slice of turkey then wrap a leaf of lettuce around both for a quick lettuce wrap.
Keep hard boiled eggs on hand for grab and go days.
Whip up 1 / 2 c pumpkin with 2 or 3 ounces of cream cheese, a parcel of splenda and some cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice. Microwave for 30 seconds. Yum, but remember to count the vegetable and ounces of cheese against your count for the day.

Once you order something else to drink, though, the hardest part is over. [ / icon_smile. gif]

When I go out and other people are drinking, THAT is when I allow myself to drink diet soda. I get a diet coke or diet pepsi with fresh lemon. It helps to fill me up and not feel like I ' m on some restricted bread and water diet. It ' s my treat. You could also get iced tea if you like it. Or an iced coffee with splenda and cream. Or club soda with lime or lemon. There ' s no need to have " just water " if that makes you feel this way: [ / icon_cry. gif] [ / icon_evil. gif]
Also... if you just " have " to order wine, order a white wine spritzer. It ' s half white wine and half club soda. You can have two of those for the carbs of one glass of wine. 3. 5 oz of white table wine has less than 2. 7 carbs ( according to the site I used ). Certainly not a diet buster carb - wise. Just be aware that while your body is processing the alcohol no fat metabolizing is happening. Your body will metabolize the alcohol first. You ' ll stay in ketosis... but fat loss will be put on pause during that time.
