Hello everyone when I wi on Monday I had only lost 3lb [ / icon_sad. gif] [ / icon_sad. gif] a little upset although I did sort of start the week previous having no bread, pasta and all the rest of it so I have probably lost 6lb over 2 weeks but still was a little demotivating [ / icon_sad. gif]
So I am 168lbs / 12stone exactly at the mo, I have 17 days until my friends wedding and rose-colored to lose a lot more [ / icon_biggrin. gif]
I will try to drink more water this week I think that hasn ' t helped either, Hope you are all doing great,
Kelly

It sounds like you have an average metabolic resistance. When you have less to lose you boost to lose slower and even though it is hard to think you are doing great when you hear how others have dropped double digits in the 2 week induction, you really are. Just stick with it. The first time I did atkins I lost 19 lbs the first month ( 13 the first 2 weeks and then the following 6 the remaining 2 weeks ). This time I have lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks and not sure what I am going to lose in the remaining 2 weeks. You never know, maybe the whoosh fairy is going to pay you a visit. You also have to take into consideration TOM if that is around right now. Don ' t get discouraged. You are doing great!!!!

6 lbs in 2 weeks is above average for women. I think the average is 4 lbs for an average metabolic resistant woman, so you should feel good about that.
