Induction and diet coke?

Hi everone, I have been on induction for 2 days and already lost 4 lbs! Im over the moon, got 39 lbs to go to get down to my pre - pregnancy weight of 126lbs. ( I gave birth to my beautiful daughter savannah a month ago ). I have been drinking 2 cans of diet coke a day as its the only thing that satisfys my sweet cravings. Is this ok to drink on induction or can it hinder weightloss? Any comments much appreciated, thanks guys xx

it affects some but not others.
If you find that it does, but still want a sweet craving, the Diet Rite Scarlet Cola is pretty good.

I ' m not sure what region you live in, but I ' m in the SE and the grocery store Publix has a diet soda line - up that are all like honey with Splenda: diet cola, lemon - lime, orange, zap - mild ( I believe ).
I can ' t tell you why off the top of my head, but Atkins stays to stay away from aspartame, which is the sweetener in all of Coke ' s diet products exclude for " Diet Coke with Splenda ", which doesn ' t taste as good.
Also, as Kyp the star killer pointed out, Diet Rite has good sodas.

Unfortunately i live in the uk where they dont produce soda made with spenda, only aspartame [ / icon_sad. gif] I have been having 2 cans a day of diet coke and have lost 6lbs in 4 days. [ / icon_smile. gif]

Gorge i have diet coke ( UK person as well ) or coke zero or whatever, but I have it as a real treat. I find that drinking fizzy water with ice and lemon in, kills the ' need for fizz ' that I really want. You can ' t beat that cold fizzy loveliness of an ice cold diet coke [ / icon_smile. gif]

Is it really sooooo bad to drink Coca Cola light or Zero during induction phase? I am more bread - loving person and being on Atkinson diet makes mi physically sick. Coke really helps to heal my stomach. I used to drink 1 litre of coke per day, even more, but after reading this, I will probably have to quit it. I do not know what to do.... [ / icon_rolleyes. gif] Why is aspartam so bad? I read zero carbs an the label, so.... [ / icon_question. gif]
