Is this true?

ADDED sugars are veto... natural sugars are different. You ' ll find sugar naturally in vegetables, some cheeses, berries and nuts. When you read labels be sure to also read the ingredient list... look for added sugars there. Anything ending in " ose " is sugar. Also look for things like honey, molasses, dehydrated cane juice, etc.

So I was reading a list of " acceptable foods " on the atkins website and Ranch dressing is in there. It has 1g of sugar and 1carb, So I should not eat this? or find a ranch that has no sugar?

The salad dressing requirement is this:
" Salad Dressings - Any prepared salad dressing with no added sugar and no more then two net carbs per serving ( 1 - 2 tablespoons is a serving ) "
So look at your ranch dressing... is there ADDED sugar in the ingredients? If so, this techinically isn ' t ok. But one carb per serving is low and you CAN use this so long as you count the carb in your daily total. If the dressing has no added sugars in the ingredient list it means the 1 g of sugar is naturally occuring in one or more of the ingredients ( most likely from milk sugars ). Just be sure that you measure any dressing that has carbs so you know what one serving looks like. I nurture to use dressings with no carbs so I don ' t have to measure. LOL

I ' ve been looking for dressing that has no sugar or carbs. I dont like vinegar and so far I can ' t find anything I noticed regular ranch is the lowest with 1 Carb and 1 Sugar on the nutrition facts. If you know of any let me know i ' ll go pick some up.
I also wanted to ask I have canned greenbeans and mushrooms ect. the greenbeans have 4 carbs and 2g sugars, now is this natural sugars? am I allowed to eat these?

Read the labels. If there ' s ADDED sugar... no, don ' t eat it. If there ' s no sugar if any kind added, count the carbs... this goes for any food on the Induction foods list. You have that, right?

Yeah I have the Induction food list, So if it says Sugar 1g on the nutrition facts thats alright as long as in the ingredients theres nothing that ends in ose?

There is a ranch by south beach that does NOT have sugar in it. i have gotten it before and its not bad at all. it has 2 carbs per 2tbsp serving.
i eat canned green beans and mushrooms all the time and that is mostly how i buy those and have never had a problem with them stalling my weight loss.
