Hello all. I am new to Atkins and am looking for some feedback on my first menu plan for tomorrow. [ / icon_biggrin. gif]
B: 2 hard boiled eggs
1 strip of bacon
2 ounces of cheddar cheese
L: 1 chicken breast grilled and sliced on 2 cups of salad
D: hamburger pattie with mayo and a slice of tomato wraped in lettuce
half a cucumber sliced with cayenne pepper
snacks in between would consist of celery with some sour cream
Let me know what you think. I will be starting induction tomorrow. I dont have the books yet because I ordered them through Amazon. They said I wont get them until maybe May. I just dont want to wait until May to start. I figure with a good support group like this and the internet I should be able to hold down until they get here. I do have an Atkin cookbook though. Thanks again for your guys help!!! [ / icon_biggrin. gif]

G ' day RAmbo!
welcome to the board and to atkinsville - - i started with out the book too but now i have two! ( long story ) your menu looks good - - go easy on the sour cream on your celery though - I use Philladelphia cream cheese and its very YUMMY! Make sure you take a multivitamin and drink all your water daily ( at LEAST 64oz ) and you should be losing in no time!
Goodluck!

God bless ya... when i first started out ( 225 pounds July 2005 ) I was eating for breakfast....
4 egg omlet with cheese and meat ( later added bell pepper, onions, tomato etc )
about 6 peices of bacon
and a few sausage links...
When i first started i was hungry and basically
kept my self stuffed with no carb or lowest carb foods
just to keep in into induction....
one peice of bacon would only make me kill for more [ / icon_wink. gif]
